Grows exceptionally plump, club-like, fleshy leaves that measure up to 3.5 cm in length. The foliage is naturally covered in a thick, powdery layer of pale-blue epicuticular wax (farina), giving it a soft, frosted pastel sheen.
Under standard indoor conditions, it displays a crisp mint or glaucous blue-green hue. When exposed to environmental stressors like cold weather or strong sun, the leaf margins and tips blush with a gorgeous soft yellow tinge and bright pink highlights.
Initially grows as erect, rigid stems up to 20 cm (8 inches) tall. As the stems grow longer and branch heavily from the base, they gracefully spill over the edge of the pot, creating a cascading or trailing look.
