• To Maintain the Orange Hue: Give the plant bright, indirect sunlight or place it directly under high-intensity, full-spectrum LED grow lights for 12 hours a day. Lower light conditions will cause the brilliant orange and coppery tones to fade back to a dull, flat green. Avoid burning midday sun.
• Substrate Formula: Use an ultra-porous, sharp, airy mix. Combine 70% mineral grit (pumice, perlite, and coarse sand) with 30% loose peat or orchid bark.
• Potting Depth: Never bury the bulb deeply. Only the bottom 30% of the caudex should sit in the soil to anchor its root system; the remaining 70% must remain exposed to prevent devastating basal rot.
