Is a massive, slow-to-medium growing canopy tree that can reach heights of up to 30 to 50 meters in the wild. They require full sunlight to survive.

• Take a piece of coarse sandpaper or a small metal file.
• Gently rub one edge or side of the seed until you break through the dark outer coating and just barely see the lighter tissue underneath. Be careful not to file too deeply or damage the inner embryo.
• Place your scarified seeds into a cup.
• Pour warm to hot water (around 80°C/175°F—not completely boiling) over the seeds.
• Leave them to soak for 12 to 24 hours. You will notice the viable seeds absorb water and noticeably swell up.
