Pelargonium nervifolium 4 Pieces Seeds
Package: 4 seeds
It follows a strict winter-growing, summer-dormant cycle. Foliage emerges in autumn, flowers bloom in late winter/early spring, and the plant dies back completely as summer approaches.
Plant the tuber in a deep terracotta pot to accommodate its root structure. Use a heavily mineral, sharply draining medium. A mix of 70% pumice, coarse quartz sand, or fine gravel and 30% lean loam beautifully mimics its native rocky hillside soils.
Water moderately during the autumn and winter months while the leaves are green and growing. Always allow the soil mix to dry out almost completely between waterings to prevent root rot.
Once the plant finishes blooming and the leaves turn yellow and wither, cease watering entirely. Keep the pot warm, dry, and well-ventilated throughout the summer to safeguard the dormant caudex from fungal decay.
