The totem pole cactus, also known as Pachycereus schottii monstrosus,is a strikingly beautiful plant. Native to North America, this slow-growing cactus is also known asLophocereus schottii var. monstrous, ormonstrous whisker cactus. It got its common name from its textured stems, which look like totem poles with many faces.
