• Light Requirements: Give it bright, indirect sunlight with a few hours of gentle morning sun. A bright east- or west-facing window is ideal. Under insufficient light, it will grow long leaves but stop making pitchers.
• Watering Parameters: Use strictly pure water (distilled, rainwater, or reverse osmosis water). Keep the substrate evenly and consistently moist. Ensure excellent drainage; never let the pot sit directly in stagnant water in a saucer.
• Substrate Mix: Grow in a loose, nutrient-free, highly oxygenated medium. Use 3 parts long-fiber sphagnum moss to 1 part perlite or coarse orchid bark.
• Temperature & Humidity: It grows beautifully in warm household temperatures between 18°C and 27°C (65°F to 80°F). While it adapts well to average home air, maintaining humidity above 50% ensures the thin-walled pitchers stay pristine and active for months longer.
