• Soil & Potting: Requires a highly porous, fast-draining potting mix. Combine standard potting soil with generous amounts of perlite, coarse sand, or pumice to prevent water retention. Use a small container, as the roots thrive when slightly restricted.
• Planting Depth: Plant the mature bulb with one-third to one-half of the bulb exposed above the soil line. This keeps the bulb neck dry and actively prevents rot.
