Growing in a well drained soil with little to some water and some to lots of sun.
Euphorbia bougheyi, or the ribbon spurge, has flat or trigonal stems that grow in a candelabra fashion. Over time this plant will develop a woody trunk and in the wild will become a modest shrub. Like other members of the euphorbiaceae family, this plant has white sap that can irritate skin. Take care to protect yourself when pruning or propagating this plant.
