This is another very rare species of South African cycad that is sought out by every serious collector around the world.  It is felt to be critically endangered in the wild.  This is a medium sized green species with trunks up to about eight feet mature.  The striking thing about this species are the leaves.  If one looks from afar, the crown of leaves is shaped like a basket - the leaves curl inwards toward the plant as they extend out.  This is a full sun species that doesn't like to be transplanted.
