Soil Mix: Use a highly porous, well-draining cactus and succulent mix. Mixing in pumice or perlite prevents waterlogging.
Sowing Depth: Seeds are light-dependent germinators. Surface-sow them by mixing them gently into the top layer of pre-moistened soil; do not bury them deeply.
Temperature: Keep the propagation area warm, ideally above 75°F (25°C) to mimic their tropical/subtropical native environment.
Humidity: Cover the pot with a clear plastic bag or dome to retain moisture. Mist lightly if the soil surface starts drying out.
