To care for them, provide 75%+ inorganic, fast-draining soil and very bright, indirect light. Water only during their active autumn-to-spring growth phase when the bodies look wrinkly, and keep them completely dry during their summer.
Aim for 75-80% inorganic materials (pumice, zeolite, lava rock, or fine quartz gravel) and only 20-25% organic material (sieved potting soil or coco peat).
Provide very bright, indirect light or bright morning sun. Avoid harsh, direct afternoon sun during the summer, as it will easily burn them.
