Size: A miniature species growing up to only 10 to 12 cm tall.
Flowers: Bright pink, highly zygomorphic (bilaterally symmetrical) flowers accented with dark wine-purple anthers. The small umbel usually carries around 10 flowers.
Foliage: Prostrate leaves that emerge after flowering, distinctively covered with unusual yellowish bristles.
