Aloe kififiensis 15 Pieces Seeds

Package: 15 seeds

It is a stemless (acaulescent) or short-stemmed aloe that grows in clusters or rosettes. Its fleshy, green leaves are decorated with spots and can reach up to 9 cm wide. In winter, the foliage can take on a distinct pinkish tint.

The plant is highly sought after by collectors for its striking, glossy, dark red blossoms. The flowers are borne on a branched stalk, and their tube-like structure is noticeably constricted just above the base. At higher altitudes, the flowers tend to fade to a paler color.

It typically grows at low altitudes (up to 380 meters above sea level) often anchored directly on coastal coral rocks. It is named after the Kilifi District in Kenya.
