- Substrate: Use a strictly gritty, fast-draining potting medium. A mixture of equal parts coarse sand, perlite/pumice, and a small amount of coco coir works perfectly to prevent root rot.
- Light and Heat: Place the plant in a spot that receives at least 6 to 8 hours of daily, direct sunlight. It thrives in high temperatures between 15°C and 30°C (60°F to 85°F).
- Watering: Treat it like a succulent. Water deeply only when the potting mix is entirely bone-dry. Arabicum varieties are significantly more sensitive to overwatering than standard Adenium obesum.
