A succulent dry deciduous vine from Madagascar that forms a swollen caudex from which long, slender shoots with heart-shaped leaves emerge during the wet season.
Growing in a well drained soil with some water and lots of sun.
The stem can grow up to 30 centimetres in diameter, the vines reach two meters.
